Aged Care Association Australia is proud to invite you to Our Journey Beyond Today, the 28th Annual Congress to be held at the new state of the art Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The Congress program will be innovative, informative and educational, offering a number of outstanding keynote speakers, supported by invited specialist speakers. In addition, concurrent sessions will feature submitted papers, in which a range of issues relating to aged care will be addressed.
The focus of the 2009 program is workforce – attracting, retaining and motivating our greatest resource. How will we extend the ‘boomers’ working life, and what will younger workers find attractive about the aged care industry?
The program will also include presentations on organisational culture, the economy and its impacts on aged care, recruiting and retaining quality staff, future directions for our industry, changes to Industrial Relations laws, embracing cultural diversity in aged care facilities and the role of marketing and branding in aged care.
